Product description: Our wild sidestripe shrimp are freshly harvested, individually flash-frozen, glazed, and packaged into 1 lb (16 ounce) zip-lock packages. Each package contains 21-30 shrimp tails. Sidestripe shrimp will contain roe that adds nutrition and flavor! Our shrimp are free of chemicals and preservatives.

Texture profile: Shrimp tails are meaty and the roe is crunchy.

Shell notes: Shrimp shells are still intact in order to protect the tail meat. Shells may be consumed. Shells may also be easily peeled after cooking and can be used for making stock or bisque.

Preparation tips: There is no need to thaw shrimp for recipes requiring unpeeled shrimp. Sidestripe shrimp will require thawing for recipes requiring peeled shrimp. Sidestripe is great for grilling, baking, deep frying, steaming, and pan searing!
